With Warframe’s Angels of the Zariman expansion coming in April 2022, we finally get a first look at what’s to come. The sequel to the rather well-regarded expansion The New War, Angels of the Zariman will also bring a new setting, as is customary for such things in Digital Extremes’ free-to-play sci-fi action game world.
This frame is Gyre, a ballerina-inspired frame with an electric theme. While the existing Volt framework is all about lightning, Gyre seems to be more about graceful electric arcs, like the more enchanting creations of scientists such as Nikola Tesla. One of his abilities apparently uses “a bit of physics”, which a senior game designer described as “pretty fun to use” and “a little chaotic”.

“Fun to use” and “a little chaotic” are pretty much the watchwords of a good Warframe character, so I’m not going to speculate too much on what a ballet dance electromaster will do other than what I expect. going to be quite fun. We’ll see more of Gyre, other than the tweet above and the short trailer, closer to launch.
Angels of the Zariman will also include a new social hub, more main quests and missions, and NPCs to chat with. You can also get an apartment to customize, which sounds nice, as you can transition from the new social hub to procedural missions seamlessly, i.e. without a loading screen. Cared for.
