Samsung has started sending out invitations for the second event of the year, which is set to be broadcast online on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at. 10:00 ET. It’s called the Awesome Galaxy A Event on the invitation, and it’s dedicated to the mid-range phone maker’s A-Series devices in case you couldn’t see it.
It is rumored that Samsung will add two new phones to the range: Galaxy A73 and A53. Last year, Samsung announced the Galaxy A72 and A52 at an Unpacked event being held around the same time. Both phones need updating and it’s likely we’ll just get our first glimpse of this month’s event.
Rumors and leaks indicate that the Galaxy A73 and A53 can both come with 5G, which would at least be an upgrade to the A72 as the A52 already has a 5G variation. That A73 is expected to come with the same 6.7-inch screen along with a Snapdragon 750G chip, while the A53 may have a 6.5-inch paired with Samsung’s internal Exynos 1200 system on a chip (SoC).
